Golf Valley Marbella: Where to Eat After 18 Holes in Nueva Andalucía

Nueva Andalucía is known as Marbella's Golf Valley for a reason: Aloha Golf, Real Club de Golf Las Brisas, Los Naranjos Golf and La Quinta all sit in the same green bowl beneath La Concha mountain, minutes from Puerto Banús. Most visiting golfers play a morning or midday round — and then face the same question at 18: where do we eat, and will the kitchen still be open?

Driving times from the courses

MAA Indian Restaurant sits in Aloha Garden (Avenida del Prado, Bloque 11, Local 9). Aloha Golf is roughly 3 minutes away, Los Naranjos about 4, Las Brisas about 5, La Quinta around 8 and Puerto Banús about 7. Parking around Aloha Garden is free and unhurried, which matters when you are arriving with a car full of clubs.

Timing your table around the tee sheet

Our kitchen runs every day from 15:00 to 23:30 — an unusually wide window on the Costa del Sol, where many kitchens close between lunch and 20:00. A morning round finishing around 14:00 works well with a 15:30 late lunch; an afternoon round finishing at 19:00 leaves you plenty of time for a relaxed 20:30 or 21:00 dinner on the terrace. In peak season (April–June and September–October) book at least a day ahead for groups of six or more.

What golf groups order

Sharing works better than individual plates after a round. A mixed tandoori platter — chicken tikka, lamb tikka, malai kebab, seekh kebab — gets everyone eating fast. Then two or three curries for the table: Butter Chicken for the crowd-pleaser, Rogan Josh or Methi Gosht for the traditionalists, Sag Paneer or Dal Tarka for the vegetarians, with garlic naan and pilau rice. Ask for mild, medium and hot versions side by side rather than compromising on one heat level.

Drinks after a hot round

Cold Cobra or Estrella is the obvious call. If you are ordering wine, a Verdejo or Albariño handles the tandoori starters, a Rioja Crianza carries the tomato-based curries, and an off-dry rosé is the safest choice if anyone at the table is chasing the Vindaloo.

We regularly host golf societies and corporate groups from the surrounding courses.
