Nueva Andalucía is Marbella's calmer, greener neighbour — five minutes from Puerto Banús yet centred around Aloha Garden and its famous golf valley. It is one of the best places on the Costa del Sol for a slow, elegant evening.
6pm — sunset at Aloha
Watch the light drop over La Concha mountain from any of the terraces around Aloha Garden. Bring a jumper for winter, sunglasses for summer.
8pm — dinner at MAA
Cross the courtyard to MAA Indian Restaurant in Local 9 of Bloque 11. Order the mixed platter, a bottle of Muga Crianza, and finish with the Pistachio Kulfi. The garden terrace is the seat to ask for.
10:30pm — Puerto Banús walk
A ten-minute drive brings you to the marina at Puerto Banús. Take a slow lap of the boats, grab a coffee, and head home well-fed.
